Kalina’s Restaurant – Terms & Conditions of Dining
1. General Dining Policy
1.1 By dining at Kalina’s Restaurant, guests agree to abide
by these Terms and Conditions.
1.2 Management reserves the right to refuse entry or service to any person in accordance
with Australian consumer and liquor laws.
1.3 Guests are expected to conduct themselves respectfully towards staff and
other patrons. Any inappropriate or disruptive behaviour may result in removal
from the premises.
2. Reservations & Group Bookings
2.1 Reservations are recommended to ensure availability,
especially during peak dining periods. Walk-in guests will be accommodated
based on availability.
2.2 Groups of 10 or more guests are required to dine on a set menu,
as determined by the restaurant. This ensures efficient service and a seamless
dining experience.
2.3 A deposit may be required for group bookings. Any cancellation or reduction
in numbers within 48 hours of the booking may result in forfeiture of
the deposit.
2.4 Any special requests (dietary requirements, seating preferences, etc.) must
be communicated at the time of booking. While we will do our best to
accommodate requests, they cannot be guaranteed.
3. Allergen Awareness & Dietary Requirements
3.1 Kalina’s Restaurant takes food allergies and dietary
requirements seriously. However, we cannot guarantee an allergen-free
environment.
3.2 Guests with allergies must notify staff when placing their order. While we
take precautions, traces of allergens may be present due to shared
kitchen facilities.
3.3 We do not accept liability for adverse reactions to food consumed at our
venue. Customers with severe allergies should exercise caution.
4. Pricing & Payment
4.1 All prices listed on the menu are in Australian
Dollars (AUD) and include Goods and Services Tax (GST).
4.2 A surcharge of 10% applies on Sundays and 15% on public holidays, in
accordance with Fair Work Australia’s penalty rates for hospitality staff.
4.3 Payment can be made via cash, EFTPOS, or credit card. A card surcharge
may apply to cover bank processing fees.
5. Cancellations & No-Show Policy
5.1 Reservations must be cancelled at least 24 hours
in advance. Failure to cancel within this time may result in a cancellation
fee.
5.2 Group bookings (10+ guests) require 48 hours’ notice for
cancellations or reductions in guest numbers. Deposits may not be refunded for
late cancellations.
5.3 No-shows or last-minute cancellations may result in future booking
restrictions.
6. Liquor Licensing & Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA)
6.1 Kalina’s Restaurant is a licensed venue and strictly
adheres to NSW liquor laws and Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA)
requirements.
6.2 No BYO alcohol is permitted unless explicitly stated by management.
6.3 Staff have the right to refuse service to any patron who is intoxicated,
underage, or behaving inappropriately.
6.4 Guests must be 18 years or older to purchase or consume alcohol.
Valid identification (Australian driver’s license, passport, or proof of age
card) must be presented upon request.
7. Health & Safety Compliance
7.1 Kalina’s Restaurant complies with NSW Food Authority
regulations and maintains high standards of food safety and hygiene.
7.2 Smoking and vaping are prohibited within the restaurant premises and only
allowed in designated outdoor areas, as per NSW laws.
7.3 Any accidents, injuries, or spills should be reported to staff immediately
for appropriate assistance.
8. Loss & Liability
8.1 Kalina’s Restaurant is not responsible for any loss
or damage to personal belongings. Guests should take care of their
valuables.
8.2 We are not liable for any injury, illness, or loss arising from the
consumption of food and beverages at our venue, except where required by
Australian Consumer Law.
9. Special Event & Private Function Bookings
9.1 Bookings for special events or private functions may
require a non-refundable deposit to secure the reservation.
9.2 Final guest numbers and menu selections must be confirmed at least 7
days prior to the event.
9.3 Management reserves the right to set additional terms for specific events,
including minimum spends or venue hire fees.
10. Amendments to Terms & Conditions
10.1 Kalina’s Restaurant reserves the right to update or
modify these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice.
10.2 The latest version of these Terms & Conditions will be available on
our website and at the restaurant upon request.
